A New Era

Well the time has come. Change is always inevitable, but how we adapt to it…is the task at hand. Entering times of uncertainty, can bring with it a host of emotions. Fear, anxiety, information “overload,” tension, sadness for some…while joy for others. One thing remains constant though- the absolute need, of taking care of ourselves!! I’ve adopted a “community” mindset, because I feel that is what will be the “glue” that binds us together. However, to pour into others I know I must also…pour into myself. That is when I become the best asset. Best listener. Best friend. Best ally. The most productive to any cause or creation. Whatever I put into the world, would have my best intentions imprinted onto it- because I put all my heart into it. Not just begrudgingly, showing up or out-lol…haphazardly. If my name is on or behind it- best believe…Ms. Jacqui is in it!! Take care of yourself always, by any means necessary. In my healing journey, I’ve devoted myself to working on the things, that can never be taken away from me. Self-preservation, is a “superpower.”
